Definitely was...I'm a Leaf fan (you can pity me now) and remember those days. He was definitely a step up from Allen Bester!

If I remember right Fuhr played out his career as so:
Edmonton - 84-91
Leafs - 91-93
Sabres - 93-95
Kings - 95-96
Blues - 96-99
Flames 99-00

Saw him play in the Legends of Hockey in Edmonton last Fall...was pretty neat

Yep. Let in some really soft goals, but when you needed a save to stay in the game, he made it.

His stats are also a bit misleading. If you watch some of those old Oiler games, you'll be shocked how many breakaways the other team had. The Oilers in the early and mid 80s weren't really a great defensive team :D
