I reciently machined this axcel at work for my Uzzi...

I needed an axcel that would adapt 135mm saint der to a hadley 12x135mm hub... so I ordered the Problem Solvers one and it didn't work... (thier's is for a 12mm hub to 10mm dropouts)

so I machined this one to work w/the 12mm dropouts... I machined it out of 6061 T6 511H...

since I have come accross an inexpensive source for the derailers I was considering maching more for fellow ridemonkeys...

I was thinking I could do the derailer/acel for $150 plus shipping...

If anybody local (Seattle) wants to do a 150mm spacing version of this and help me RnD it (mainly getting the demesions right and test riding it at one of the exit's) I could get a 150mm version available...

maybe I coud do one for the Turner bikes after that?
what do you think? Feedback?

make sure a post pics of the Socom when you get it and let us know how it's working out for you...

I'm thinking of getting that frame next season... but I'm not sure if it would work for me...

Wow 12 X 135 is a wierd size for sure (do you have crank clearance issues like the M3 with the 135 rear end??). I was originally thinking that Hadley already made this part, but it is for a 135 X 10mm (more common).

Nice work!

BTW, unfortunately, the saint will not work with the Turner DHR (I assume that is what you are refering to). The DHR dropout (like lots of thru-axle DH bikes) is about one inch thick, and thus would push the deraileur too far outboard.

It's better to go with the 12mm axcel, because it's easy to buy a converter (12mm-->10mm).

davep: What are you pointing at when you write "do you have crank clearance issues like the M3 with the 135 rear end?"? I have never heard about that. I'm gettig woried because I just bought an Uzzi with a 135mm width Hadley hub...

you won't have the same issues w/an Uzzi... I'm currently running a 44 ring w/an e13 guide...

this thread is about running a Saint derailer w/o a saint hub on a 135mm intense drop out/derailer piece...
