so im looking to get into downhill/freeride and i need a cheaper frame to start with. i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or any other advice in building/buying a bike. thanks.

What do you mean by cheaper? What is your max budget? I'd look threw used bikes in the classfields here.

If you look you can find a clean used Dh sled built for $2k or less. At your level, dont buy new!

For 2200$ you get a bike with a new fork and the whole build seems very nice.


Though look around for yourself. There is some nicer stuff for a bit more and some less nice for under 2k complete. Though I doubt you'd get anything that wouldn't require cash being put into it under 1.5k

2k is about what i would spend used right now. im just shoping around seeing what 2k will get me im waiting on selling a car and possibly paintball stuff b4 i have all of the cash for another bike

are iron horse bike frames any good? i dont see too many of them so i was wondering if it would be worth buy one or at least a frame

thats pretty sick i should have just bought a freeride bike to begin with instead of my xc bike lol
