Hi,
I'm going to buy a new crank (euro 3 pieces) and I don't know how to know if it will fit my frame.

Here is a picture of my frame:

I sent an email to the guy selling the cranks (RNC) and here's what he said:
The BB is two cups and an axle so it depends more on how the long the axle is rather than the bb shell width. We have two axle lengths avaliable - 6" and 6 3/4", though we have to order in some 6 3/4" BBs.
I didn't understand nothing of what he said... can anybody help me, I need to order a crankset before tomorrow so what do I need ??

Thanks,
-MaX-

My thinking tells me you should go with the 6 and 3/4" axle, because your BB shell is 73mm, which is a little wider than your average 68mm shell. I dunno though, just one man's opinion.

that's why we drink it here
For a mountain bike, you usually have to put a bunch of chainguide crap on the drive side of the crank, and space the cranks out really wide to accomodate your wide chainstays, so go with the longer spindle. You can always put spacers on it, and you won't risk having inadequate spindle/crankarm insertion depth.
