every time i do somthing big and over shot my landing my derailer hanger snaps right off. The hanger is never bent at all, it always had a clean plain snap near the smallest part of the hanger at the top of the drop out. i have no idea what could be doing it at all. the bike has the AC crap chain guide on it, XT shifter and new derailer, sram chain and casset all 9 speed.
all i think it could be is my chain guide or that maybe the bike came with 8 speed and it just does not like 9 speed.
someone please help me i am realy mad at my bike i have gone throw 3 hangers in the last 6 months

It sounds like your chain is too short. Take the spring off the shock, compress it (the bike with springless shock bolted on) and see what happens.
