Anybody know where I can get my hands on a tool to adjust the play out of my rear RR hub? Not sure if they're in business anymore, and heard last year they stopped making the tool. Need one bad. :help:

just use the right size spanner wrench, red I believe
Red? What does that refer to? And when you say "spanner wrench" - do you mean something like a Park cone wrench (open-end spanners ranging from 12 - 17mm as I recall)? They have blue handles.... will blue be OK?

The red tool i'm refering to is Park yes, looks like a big "V" with two little cylinders sticking off the end at 90deg's. This is what I use for both of my Razor Rock hub's so I assume your's would require the same thing. I've tried to get the actual tool from RR but I have never recieved a response back via e-mail or other.

It's a simple piece. If you have a friend in the area, you could probably have some made at the local machinist.

I'm certainly glad I got one when I did.

Um we have one here at Go-Ride,it does 2 things. One end has a wedge shape on one end to fit under the seal and pull it out.Last time i used it i couldn't get the seal out w/ it,so i couldn't get to the adjuster. The other end has a castle shaped prong that actually does the adjustment.By the way i'm talking about accessing the adjuster from the drive side inside the freehub body, making a spanner unable to reach the adjuster.A spanner would however adjust the bearing on a front hub a little.
Yes they are out of buisness, and my tool just sits here since most people i know that have that hub has worn out by now.
I would sell it to you if ya want to give me a call.
I would recomend a new hub though.

Hmm, The two RR 20mm rear hubs I own have the bearing preload adjustment on the drive side. Were there different models of the hub? If that tool works on my hubs, concider it sold.
