So, my old BB says it's 68 x 113mm. i figured out that the 113 is from spindle to spindle, so the overall width. but whats the 68? do i need to find another BB that is 68 x 113, or could i get one thats like... 50 x 113?
I want to get the TruVativ Howitzer team bb and i believe that's the size i would need for my bike.
Any help?
thanks.
i need to order this part quick so i have it next week.

uhm.. well im pretty sure i need to find one thats 68 x 113. which i did, but i still have a question.
Will a TruVativ Hussefelt crankset work with a TruVativ Giga Pipe SL?

I thought that the newer Hussevelt cranks works with the Howizter BB. So it doesn't work..

Howitzer and Gigapipe are completely different. The Gigapipe is an ISIS BB. The Howitzer works only with matched Truvativ cranks.

For the record the Howitzer BB interface is terrible. Cranks come loose very easily. Plus the Howitzer is one of, if not THE heaviest BB made. I would seriously try to find something else.

Fot the original question yes 113 is the spindle length and 68 is the BB shell width.

The splined section of the spindle are different for each BB:
