I am heading back to school starting this wednesday. And with doing homework on papers I will be listning to alot of music be it here at my house or at school. I have an OK pair of sony headphones but they are bluky.

I am looking for some really good ear buds that arent to expensive. ( I am not going to pay 200 for a pair of earbuds to use on a laptop that I picked up for 100).

I know there are some to be had under 30 just not sure which ones are good.

Technially I would like them to have good audio response through all frequencies and have a nice full sound.

Thanks:monkey:

This site/forum has everything you ever wanted to know about headphones, so try a search on that, and you'll find what you need.

Check out the Sennheiser mx400 or mx500 for starters.

Any body use these?

What about the sony fotopia?
Generally sony headphones should be avoided with the exception of the upper end of the CD-xxx line, the Senn mx400 would be your best bet I imagine, they have way better sound than anything even close to their price range. (from what I've heard from that site)

I have a friend who has those cheaper sennheisers and he really likes them. He uses them witha iRiver mp3 player and has been using them almost daily for 2 years now without a problem
