Kinda cool. David Byrne and all. Anything that promotes more cycling is good.
Contrary to popular belief (mostly from people who don't live here or have never ridden the streets of NYC), I find the streets here to be much safer and bike friendly than say a place like Seattle where I was nearly killed daily. Sure there are many more cars and more aggressive driving, but people are used to bikes and pedestrians here and actually pay attention. Anyway.
