hey... I'm looking into getting a new freeride bike, and need help deciding. I have looked into the specialized bighit (the fsr 3), as well as the ac-1 and the gemini... I'm 6'2", 150 lbs, and I dont want to spend over $3000. thanks.

I highly recommend the Santa Cruz HECKLER..
It sticks drop landings,rips a 4x track & is just a great all-around ripper.
I ride a medium HECKLER / i'm 6'2" tall & use a Boxxer 151.

The new Iron horse dw 7point bikes have great frames very good components. The cheapest is the 7.3- $1600 at Go ride or supergo. The only bad thing is the fork. Just sell it and put a used 7" fork on like a super T or an '06 66 7" would be awsome on the bike as a fox 36 van would.

$3k can buy you alot of bike if you shop around. I ride a Gemini and, while a great bike, I'll be the first to tell you there are better bikes out there for the money you have to spend.

buy my bike
i would agree
that's an insanely good deal assuming the bike is in good condition. and what are u gonna do on a big hit that u can't do on that bike? nothing. and if u decide u want to do some racing u have a bike that's capable.
