dont know if anyone else does this. But to get my deraliieur to hold the right gear, i took a piece of cable with the metal stop piece that goes into the shifter pod. Then i fed that into the derailer backwards so the metal thing sits in the barrel adjuster on the derailer. Then you just push the derailer where you want it, clamp the cable down, and then fine tune its position with the barrel adjuster.

Ill try to get some pics of the single speed spacer things i machined last week.

Nope, the little barrel bit sits in the adjuster on the mech, and then you have about 3" of cable leading to the clamp bolt. You pull this to the right tightness and then do the bolt up.

o well im not even running a derailer anymore. i got the right gear ratio and am just running a chain now. and i have a new doublewide wheelset
