why go there when we have the monkey. its not like it could be any better. more like a waste of time posting something that like noone will read to and even less people respond too.

Actually I stole it from gearhead.com. That site tanked though so I own it now :blah: :eviltongu

gearhead was my first online forum....yeah...not much going on there now eh. I grew up in springfield....closer to walterville, on the McKenzie river...great place to grow up and start biking....I miss the epic XC stuff down there.

How? By checking out spam from other boards :confused:, good point though...How did everyone find the monkey, i think i found it on google a couple of years back...took me a year to actually register though :rolleyes:

Word of mouth from others telling me that is was a good site... that is how a quality site gets attention (alex99999... take notes).

I was wasting time on another site when along came some guy with some spam about this new site he started. :D The main difference between that and this thread is that the site I was on was dead, but didn't know it. That was over 3 years ago. I stopped by the other site yesterday and they still have the same "new" product review they had in June 2001!

The owner of that site wasted my time - I was going to help him get the site back on track but he wouldn't lift a finger to help me. So I just started my own.
