thats what i thought....according to them it is a "elliptical" ring and he won the tour de france on them too

Aren't they custom made fore each rider depending on where they output power in their pedal stroke?

Maybe for Sastre....I have a friend that is a pro XC racer and rides for Rotor, they have enough bolt holes to be adjustable to any rider. He swears by them (of course he is supposed to tell people that)

I've found Rotor rings to have their pins wear quickly. With an elliptical design, it really hurts the shifting performance when those pins are gone.
