I'm considering trying a set of these when they come out, but I'm a little put off by the big earls that came stock on my session because the sidewalls were complete crap. did not really hear any mention of sidewall changes. Anybody else seen these? Anybody go to trekworld and see these?

I really like to look of the G5 and G-Mud but if the sidewalls are the same as the old Big Earl then they will be useless for proper DH riding and racing. If they have beefed them up then they could be good tyres

A fellow Swedish racer had a pair of the G-Mud tires with him to the European champs a few weekends ago. Tread looked ace but the sidewall did indeed seem a bit skinny.

However, no problems with punctures during the sloppy practice days for him, seemed happy with them.
