Hello new to the board. I am going to be building a Giant ATX Pro 15.5" frame for riding XC, singletrack, and a bit of downhill. I don't expect to be jumping cars or anything occasionally maybe off a small rock or something. I am going to go with Rox Shok tora 318 fork, Mavic 719 Disc Custom wheels. I am confused about all of the sizes on brakes and the crank cassete 2x10 3x9 etc I plan to spend money on good brakes and would like middle of the road crank derailer etc. Looking for some advice on what to buy for the riding I do.

Thanks Len

Welcome to Ridemonkey.

A 3x9 setup is pretty standard and should serve you well in most situaitons. As far as the Make/model of crankset, there are so many out there to choose from that most people's choice is narrowed down by price. Let us know how much you're willing to spend on a crankset and BB and I'm sure we can help you find something to your liking.

Again, with brakes, there are so many to choose from, we would need to know how much you're willing to spend.

hello fiends.I think this Artcle provide useful information for everyone.
It was fantastic. I found the information on how to drench my lamas a little esoteric but given that the hipsters will no doubt be extolling the virtues of lama wool jerseys over the coming season its probably highly topical.

Yeah we haven't been around long here at ridemonkey but I'm sure you'll build something nice up.

Try and make DirtMcGirk a regular contributor, his life lessons are invaluable.

I'll forgive you this once but really your suggestion that a 64 degree head angle could achieve the weight savings you suggested is ludicrous and I will struggle to take any future suggestions on axle paths and rootbeer shimz colourways seriously.

Yes Fvck off.

mr jones why is the links not working?
Those links are to pricepoint. com. They change their pages often as they update their inventory and as they do so, the links become inactive or point to the wrong item. You'll have to go to the site and scope out their new deals.
