I just got a new fit flow frame for $100 .

Anyway all of my biking experience is in road/mountain bikes, so I'm not really familiar with bmx brands. I could really use some help in picking parts, I don't have too much money for this build so I'll probably be looking at used/medium range parts. Also any advice on what brands to stay away from would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just be sure to get 3-piece cranks, a good wheelset with 14mm hubs, and a fork that accepts 14mm hubs. Other than that just buy parts in your price range.
