Blindly running into cactus
since christmas is now an offensive term, i've come up with a list of all the traditional christmas songs that will be changed to traditional "holiday" songs

I'M DREAMING OF A WHITE HOLIDAY

HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE HOLIDAY

I HEARD THE BELLS ON HOLIDAY DAY

ITS BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE A HOLIDAY

THE NIGHT BEFORE THE HOLIDAY

O HOLIDAY FOLIAGE

ROCKING AROUND THE HOLIDAY FOLIAGE

TWELVE DAYS OF HOLIDAY

WE WISH YOU A MERRY HOLIDAY

--this list only covers the song titles...many other songs must be changed to conform to the new anti-judeo christian biggotted holiday because they contain the word of which we don't speak of---

post more if you can think of them....we can't let the religious biggots get away with this hidden preaching tactic  :D

Ballard 4 life.
And a merry Christmahanukkwanza to you too.

O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum,
Wie treu sind deine Blätter.
O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum,
Wie treu sind deine Blätter.
Du grünst nicht nur zur Sommerzeit,
Nein auch im Winter, wenn es schneit.
O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum,
Wie treu sind deine Blätter.

From us ("the wishor") to you (hereinafter called "the wishee"), please accept without obligation, real or implied, our best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, politically correct, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

We also wish you a financially successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2006, but with due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures or sects whose contributions to society have helped make America great, (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only "America" in the western hemisphere), and having regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith, choice of computer platform or dietary preference of the wishee.

By accepting this greeting you are bound by these terms that:

  • This greeting is subject to further clarification or withdrawal
  • This greeting is freely transferable provided that no alteration shall be made to the original greeting and that the proprietary rights of the wishor are acknowledged.
  • This greeting implies no promise by the wishor to actually implement any of the wishes.
  • This greeting may not be enforceable in certain jurisdictions and/or the restrictions herein may not be binding upon certain wishees in certain jurisdictions and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wishor.
  • This greeting is warranted to perform as reasonably may be expected within the usual application of good tidings, for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first.
  • The wishor warrants this greeting only for the limited replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wishor
  • Any references in this greeting to "the Lord", "Father Christmas", "Our Saviour", or any other festive figures, whether actual or fictitious, dead or alive, shall not imply any endorsement by or from them in respect of this greeting, and all proprietary rights in any referenced third party names and images are hereby acknowledged.

edit: Not my work, but it shows up in my email at least fifteen times every Christmas, so I thought I'd post it :blah: - minor edits on my part.

Boston....outside of it....
I never thought that Santa was a religious thing, truthfully....

I know now, but don't care.

Fat man in velvet who brings presents and eats cookies.
Sounds like a good guy.

He's not a religious thing, I don't know why he always gets dragged into the mix. He did not deliver baby Jesus, he was not a wiseman, he did not sit at the last supper...he's a fat jolly reindeer farmer dude with a big heart who sold his soul to Coca-Cola in the 50's. What's so offensive about that?
