This douche bag (Goss) didn't seem all that concerned a couple months back when an agent's identity was leaked. His contention is that if it was an accident, so be it. If it was willful disregard, he'd be all over it.

WTF? Why does it matter how it got leaked? Shouldn't it be investigated either way? I'm not really sure how any leak of this kind can be considered an accident... how do you put a field agent's life at risk, not to mention her family? Either way, the leak should be discovered and fixed.

How can a man who doesn't care about the safety of field agents be put in charge?

I dont see how the rest of the quote makes any difference. The quote came from March 3. Thats, what? 5 and a half months a go? It seems to me that its pretty hard to completely change your cultural background in such a short time while also brushing up on your technical and computer skills and also upholding your duties as a US Congressman.

I also agree that is simply disgusting and shamefully disrespectful to not investigate a leak of any kind from the CIA that compromises someones identity and that of their family. Its just another example to me of the Bush administration faultering on national defense. It seems to me now is pretty much exactly the wrong time to allow our support of the CIA and all the other intelegence and national defense organisations to diminish.

Since they determined the leak was form the White House what did you expect him to say. He is on the Intel committee and a Republican?? Do you think he is going to pounce on the President? Heck the White House wouldn't even cooperate the Independent Investigator they appointed to "look into it" or something like that.
