Im going to try on a bunch of bike shoes today(mountain) cause my old Shimano ones hurt my feet and made my toes go numb after an hour or two. Also the sole had a lot of flex in it. What would you suggest for tips on trying on new shoes, is there a certain way they should fit. Will the padding squish down after a while like on regular shoes, or do they not have alot of padding on them. I tried on a pair of nike poggio carbons, i know there road shoes but i just tried them on for size. Would you suggest a carbon mtb shoe or just a composite sole.
Thanks for any help:)
