I am replaceing the derailers and shifter pod on my bike would suggest going with sram or shimano? which works best? which is lightest? which is most reliable? go at it guys
XO defintly has a more precise feel, than X.9. The price kinda sucks though. Shimano ends up being a bit lighter though. Butt who cares, damn Yagamoto Shimano.
btw, at the beginning of the year, I mused with putting together an all Italian mountain bike group (but something new, not 1992 technology).
The flatbar shifters are brake lever integrated, but assuming I broke off the lever, I could use Centaur long cage, Campy hubs spaced out, and Formula disc brakes.
The biggest gotcha was the crankset, and I could not find one Italian mtn triple.
