hello bikemag.com, thanks for including our Havoc bars in this post. There's some conflicting information here, however. You're showing the Havoc 35 handlebars, that's our new 800-millmeter wide option. It's available in carbon or aluminum. The Havoc 35 Carbon bar is the strongest on the market and it weighs 220 grams. That makes the bar 50-mm wider than the standard Havoc and 15 grams lighter. Best of all, in our testing, the new Havoc 35 Carbon bar is 15-percent stronger and 21-percent stiffer than the standard Havoc bar (which was previously the strongest bar we'd ever tested). The "35" designation is because the new bar/stem utilize a 35-millimeter clamp diameter, up from 31.8mm.

Mr. Peacock seems to have read the specs from the standard, 31.8mm Havoc bar and photographed the Havoc 35 bar (easy mistake because we still offer both varieties). Just wanted to clarify...

I have been running the Havoc 35 Carbon Bar and Havoc 35 Stem for a couple months now. It is noticeably stiffer. Great bar/stem combo. It's kind of odd looking down and seeing a bar that fat and the stem spaced so wide but I don't see going back to 31.8 sized bars. Now its time to upgrade the rest of the stable!
