so I just put together my 9 foot Skip Storch 9' 4 piece fly rod with a new reel and Rio 5wt weight forward intermediate line. tied on a small wet fly and went out front to do some casts and check the balance. it was good match, very easy to make some nice accurate long casts. I felt very comfortable with the set up after 4-5 casts
