Ijust placed an order with Transition Bikes out of seattle. I have been looking for a good DC fork for my dh bike to replace my jrT. I am pretty cheap and looked all over for the best deal. This was easily it. I ended up getting a Manitou Slider SPV +. I have been wanting to seriously test something besides marzocchi for a while (I have done test rides but something more long term) and this was my chance.

NORMAL
Fork alone costs (This is for the 04 not the 05 I am getting) - 800$

TRANSITION
Frame and Fork cost - 899$ american

Thats basically this frame free

And a new version of this fork cheap

Don't know what to do with the frame yet. I have been wanting a dj/street bike for a while. I will have to figure that out when it gets here. I do have a 2004 dj2 sitting in the corner hmmmmm

Will post pics of the real product when it gets here. About a month or so for the fork to get to the shop, but I think it will be worth the wait.

Living in whistler i think a good DJ/hardtail would be a good thing. Even if you dont go mad in the parks you can still have fun.....Or make it a bar bike.... or sell it off later when you discover other needs.....

BTW, your answer link didnt work....

It was only a link to the 2004 slider + . The 2005 forks aren't on the webstie yet. My cousin is also moving from whistler to the shore, so a street bike will come in handy down there too. :)
