Trying to find some skillz...
I will always love the Dhi (original incarnation as well as new ones) but the only problem I had was that when I was ready/able to get one, I couldn't find a dealer.

Not sure if that has changed in recent years...

With the new pivot assembly and loss of the dogbone/eccentric I have to believe that they're even better.

Schwinn has just moved into the #3 ranked bicycle brand with the IBD's...even after all the bankruptcy drama. Pacific (Schwinn, GT and Goose parent company) has spent a lot of energy on getting schwinn name back. Expect them to tackle the GT brand and get it climbing up the ladder in the dealer network soon...along with more advances in bicycles. I know they are hiring engineers (USA) as we speak.

Stik - in the pic you posted up top it looks like it says: "World Edition" or something to that effect under the "DHi" logo on the swingarm. What's up with that?

I think they look pretty cool - very unique but in a good way. So basically this is the bike that Bryn is racing this year, correct?

i think that at that price point, it would have to be my next dh bike. does anybody know how they would hold up as a resort/dh race/fun bike?

I noticed the little braces on the swingarms, that's new.
Thats good, because a whole bunch of them snapped.

And looks like they welded a brace under the headtube area to stop them folding.

If GT worked out the bugs it will be a sweet bike for sure. I just hope its not like the old GT where they never fixxed the problems.

Looks like pretty light ass bike.....

I'm preety sure that with a full bling-bling build it will weight less than 15 kilograms

Same company...same suspension...but this one's prettier...
I don't think the implementation is the same....the EC-DH has zero chain growth and from what I've read the DHI has some chain growth.....although the main pivots are in about the same location.
