Those who've seen Stu T of team Honda Turner, may have already seen this helmet in person, but for those who haven't, this is my new lid. It's a TLD D2 Carbon custom painted by Stu (Lady Litton's husband). Combine this with my new V10 and I think my toys are now way too pretty to risk a crash. I think from now on I'll just sit trailside and smile.

Oh yeah, and I just bought a Honda CR125. I predict I'll be dead by winter, but I'll die with a lot of cool stuff!

Yeah, I did all the taping and detail cutting for Anka's lid, and he even let me start to paint it....and then promptly took over before I could screw it up.

He's done quite a few helmets, every one an incredible art piece.

All you guys who want to know pricing, do the math yourself. Regular cost on a SIMPLE helmet paint job will start about $350-400. That job is far from simplle. Probably closer to $700 (may be higher, I am not sure what colors were used).

NOw he is in good with the guy and helped him on other jobs, so he will get a discount. How much is his business. Suffice it to say, that noen of you would want to pay how much the job was worth.

actually its a lot more simple than u think. not many colors, some masking, nothing extreme and that's it. just goes to show ya, with just a little work u can get sick results. i would charge $400-$500 for that.

I worked hard to get the job I have that allows me the freedom and salary to buy stuff. I also work as a part time bartender and musician to pay for this crap, my daughter's private school tuition (public schools suck in California) and to pay my ex-wife child support. wipe my a$$ with money? It's a 2000 CR125, but it was sitting for a long long time, not ridden at all, so it's in incredible shape.

hey, i kno this topic is kinda dead, but i'm in the process of painting me helmet (well my friend is a great artist and he's usin an airbrusha and he's paintin it) but i can't decide what to put on it.....(for either side of the helmet) The first four pics are the top of the helmet, then the next couple pics are just things he's painted etc http://www.pinkbike.com/modules/photo/?op=list&function=myphotos&photouserid=17628 i'm open to all suggestions.....

was thinking bout getting a reaper on mine but deffinatly dont have the $$ for a complicated scheme like i wanted. what i wanted was a reaper that had its mouth wide open and make the bottom jaw the face guard (or whatever its called). and the top jaw bee the top of the big gapping hole. but thats alot of money and i dont have that so im stikin to the plan old giro graphics.
