I am just up from Northern Cali. (Humboldt County), trying to find some areas to ride, I know nothing about the area except there is a lot of places to ride. I just don't know where they are. Any help would be great, groups or anyone willing to take on another rider would be great. I like cross country, downhill, a little freestyle, but will ride just about anything, just love to ride. thanks all

If you are in Shelton....look up Capitol Forrest and the thread in here about some bike events happening in 2007.

That should get you exposure to riders and a killer area.

the BBTc is doing a group ride at Banner Forest... that's closer to you than the peep's in Seattle...

i would be willing to show you a spot in olympia. it is a freeride spot with various jumps, drops, and wood structures to play on.

thanks all of you for the replies, got some great info and I think I will be up in the hills soon. not a huge jumper, but I would still love to go and check it out never lived in an area with so many riders, and places to ride. Can't wait to start riding thanks again.
