Our Rescue puppy has finally grown out of the chew up the baseboards phase so now I get to replace a lot of them. Bought a miter saw today to make my life and the job easier
Kobalt isn't that bad, I'd go so far as to call their tools good. Definitely not a top teir tool, but if you were the kind of person who actually needed a top of the line miter saw, you'd already have owned a miter saw and wouldn't be posting about your new Kobalt on the Monkey.
For sure should have bought and angle grinder instead though

So I started replacing the baseboards. its a real pain in the ass when the walls aren't exactly plumb and the corners aren't exactly 90* either. the cuts get a tad more tricky to get right. who knew

Just wait until you do crown molding and you start working in 3 planes. I've started coping my crown instead of mitering because the guy who built my house spent entirely too much time in the bongshed.
