My own world inside my head
Check it out, guy calls me last night, says Hello, May i speak with Mr Hampton, So, being the playfull type with phone soliciters i asked what i can do for him......Short version of his speal was that my number was given to him by the government to inform me that i was approved for an eight thousand dollar grant, to repay me for past taxes that i have payed, and that were illeagally charged to me. Sounded fishy right off the bat, but hey 8k sound nice to, so i went a little further and asked him to send me the info needed to my home, that way i can check it all out and see that it was legite. So then i am told he needed to transfer me to a sucer line after asking a couple questions, he asked if he had my phone number correct, he asked if he had my adress correct, both by reading them to me, and me never giving them to him. They he asked the spelling of my first name, and it was my father he was actually trying to call. This is where i knew my initial thought was correct, i told him thats not me, its my father, his responce was Oh, well you can still claim this money, since your a family member, i just need to transfer you to the secure line so you can input your bank account info and the direct deposit can be made... its the only way we can do this because its such a large amount...etc. I then called him on his scam, by asking, ok, so your gonna put me on hold, another person is gonna pick up the line and tell me i am on a secure line, and i am just gonna give you the routing numbers to my bank account, and permission to use them????? then what you see what i have in it and take a draft for that amount and leave me penyless.......Then i hear a short rant about a44hole this f you that.......So anyways Please beware, dont give out your routing numbers and such to anyone calling you, no matter how sweet the deal sounds, the gov can always send a money order if so requested

I do have the Number, Turned it over to the FBI already, was told, good call, but we probably wont be able to catch them, thank you for the info we will apply it to our already ongoing investigation into this group of people, leave it at that, they are dangerous......ETC

Oh man, i woulda kept him on the line FOREVER. Would have been so much fun, his head would have imploded when i was done.

Protip: male phone solicitors do not usually take kindly to prentending you are gay and want to consumnate your new relationship with him.
