Looks fantastic- beautiful photos, killer layout and typography. I just hate it when designers use type that is impossible to read.

Looking forward to #2...

rufus... We will have a few more stories in issue two and we are working on finding a new copy editor. but to please you I remember is hard as hell!

honus... thanks for noticing the typography. man I was thinking that could be over looked.

as for the pics... damn it was great to get images from all over the world and be able to lay it out. Issue two will be dropping December 15th.. you can follow us on facebook or twitter or just keep going to the magazine...

Anyway thank you everyone for checking it out. And if you have story ideas... we are open to fresh blood(could be a new vampire tv show) and minds.

Attractive layout; stunning photography; too-tight leading on large type in the Boyko article is arty but annoying; and please hire/retain a proofreader. Other than that, it's a great start.

The content and photography are great, but the typography is lacking. There were numerous widows, and the leading in the Boyko article was much too tight for the typeface that was used. Also, watch out for the rivers on page 15 in the justified column. With columns that small you are better off just aligning left or right. The Evil article could also use space before each paragraph. Other than that, the layouts work quite well.
