We'll see if it actually happens! Scheduled to begin construction in 2015, open in 2016. A ways off, but they have a metric fvck ton of terrain and a wide variety from what I remember skiing there. And from the Nevada side they have basically the best views of anywhere ever.

Did some more digging, they are gonna run dipper and tamarack lifts. I'm not sure but I think dipper covers about 2500 ft of vert? That would be awesome. That resort is world class in terms of size, infrastructure, amenities, and proximity to the town. They could really be something big.

Looks like they are planning a multi million dollar investment in summer activities in general. Even a small fraction of that would be a lot for simply building MTB trails.

i saw all the other stuff they were planning too. honestly, i only care about the MTB, but its great they're using their brains and realizing that they can utilize the mountain all year round.. although its great for them, more activities + more time open = MOAR monies
