PASA is happy to announce that we have been approved to build a freeride trail system in Huntersville NC. We have been working on this project for over a year and a half and last night the Huntersville P&R committee approved the area.
What the land consists of is a little over 41 acres or rolling terrain. The trails focus will be a combination of xc and freeride with the emphasis on the freeriding/aggressive riding aspect of our sport.
Tomorrow I'm going to start scoping lines and possibly doing some flagging.
We're also looking for lumber donations so if you have any "in's" in the greater Charlotte area, let me know.
