This thing is still so hot, it even smells like welding rod.
Here is the latest revison of the DNA, even better than the frame Smutok used to win Bike Battle yesterday...

New features include... Pretty much everything.
This is the bike the DSR team wanted, so we built it.

The new DNA will be shipping sometime after Jan 1. We need to abuse the heck out of it ourselves before we release it to the masses. All interested parties are invited to ride it themselves @ interbike.
Some of the feautures on the new frame are peg mounts (the speed-hole looking things in front of the dropouts) a detangler-optimized head tube, new I-beam style yokes, and new geometry tweeks to optimize the bike for street and park style riding.

Beautiful! I've got a new ridge on the way. Can't wait to get it built up. Really like Sinister's frames...

I believe it's becoming mandatory at this stage to point out that:

It looks flexy
It looks heavy
It looks like the BB is way too high
It looks too steep

(sweet-looking ride... psyched to see it built with the pegs and gyro)

Give your dealer a call and have them to call us. We have plenty of Ridges in stock, so I don't know what the holdup is.
I dunno. Had a L Matte Black ordered a month a ago.
Beginning of last week they told me it just got back from paint and should've shipped out last week.

Alas, still no Ridge.....................

Frank just finished the new ridge frame a few minutes ago, and I may just post up some shots of it for all of you.
Pricing is going to remain about the same for the '05 frames, and for the next few months the '04 frames are going to continue to be available as well so you can mix and match and trade with your friends!

Wow Very very nice.

I am a steel addict and my endless is treating me very nice right now but i think that will be my number one choice for a replacement in the future, the design, quality, geo, everything is dialed exactly how i would want it. if it isnt to punishing of a ride i will be all over that in a season or two.

Sick ride....

ps. how bout a 1.5 headtube and a steel version in the future ;)

What are the holes on the tops of the seat stays for? Screw in cable guides? And how exactly is the headtube optomized for a detangler? I'm probablly missing something obvious there but it kind of looks like any other head tube.

He may not have mentioned it in this thread, but in another he said production headtubes will have gyro mounting tabs.

I assume that the holes are for bolt inserts for cable guides.

Ah man, how can this be. I've only had my DNA for a couple of months after waiting for like six months to get it and now it's old news. Are the replaceable dropouts still the same, what about the horizontals? If not I hope you will continue to support our old and outdated frames.

It's not a big deal, I love my DNA.

Thanks

The dropout system is all new, but we have plenty of stock of the old dropouts to fix any problems that may arise over the next few years. We will also be producing one more large run of '04 Ridges and DNA's, so all of you out there need to go and buy 2 new frames :thumb:

This sounds awsome! Can you tell us the weight of this beauty and will the price be the same for this year?

is anything new with the 05 R9?
:munching burrito: The geometry numbers for the r9 on the website are up-to-date as to what we will be shipping for the next few runs. There were some slight geometry changes from the first bikes back in may. But the R9 stays the same, we just can't find anything we want to change on it anymore :burrito off:
