oh man my dad used to tell me stories about how they would drink robin hood ale in college in the 70's. Like 5 bucks a case or something really ridiculous...

Actually I have no idea. A friend of mine found several cases of these bottles (16oz bottles) in Pittsburg a few years ago and got them for me and my homebrew. The box is serious heavy weight cardboard. However the beer in them is a very tasty Porter with honey and molasses.
