I just moved here from oregon. I was a trail manager for Black Rock (which just had a nice picture spread in the latest bike magazine) and am trying to get involved in the building scene---or start one if there isn't one. I also need to catch some air, it has been at least 3 weeks. I am living in Winchester and need to know where to do some good freeriding--it would be nice to not have to pay. Also, where are the must ride areas around here? thanks.

i live a bit south of you, in front royal, this area doesnt have any freeriding that i know of. your best bet would be to go to Element Sports and they'll be glad to help you get on some local trails.

thanks, i have checked them out and been to elizabeth's kitchen, those trails behind the middle school and still need to check out vance's cove. I heard that the frederick county watershed has some good stuff. do you know how to get there?
