I saw that BTI is reviving Voodoo Cycles. I love the way my old Voodoo feels and always thought of picking up another for SS. The new frames have "adjustable aluminium rear dropouts with built-in tensioners." The dropouts are "vertical, sliding dropouts [that] move 20mm fore and aft."

This is the first I've heard of adjustable dropouts. Any other companies taking this approach? Any thoughts? Pros/cons?

I know you're an XC guy, but :p that sort of thing has been played with a bit in the street world. 24 has a similar system that doesn't so much slide, as have a bunch of holes you can bolt the vertical dropout to, with the hope that one of them will line up well with your chosen cog combo.

Also Evil has a similar system to that Voodoo on their Sovereign frame which is still in proto form if I'm not mistaken - they slide but have a different attachment system. Weagle should be interested to see the Voodoo....

Frankly, why they didn't use an EBB is beyond me. It makes so much more sense....

VooDoo is also making a 29er and a jump bike. My LBS called them up to see if they'd warranty my 2000 Bizango; it cracked on the top tube at the cable stop. They said that they would sell me a new frame at cost. Since they're coming out at the end of March, I have to wait to see if they'll sell me something other than another XC. I currently ride a Wanga.

the movable drop out is becoming the norm over horivontal drop out because the rear wheel is held in place better and they are easier to adj. i have also seen it in bti and it looks very nice i what to see one in person. it looks like a good solid frame to me.
