Found a new house I am looking at. Another town house with rental income. Cheaper than what I have looked at before so all in all could be much better solution. Biggest problem is getting rid of enough of the rents to make room for me and the boys.

I pedaled my carcass in (not) bright and early. 7-4 at the hospital today as I'm reading inpatients/ED and thus those are the hours.

Then shall my wife and I set our hands to the task of sanding and preparing the baseboards and walls, that Kevin, the master painter, might adorn them with glorious hues. Moreover, the keepers of the airways shall come upon the morrow to cleanse the ducts, vacuuming them with diligence. And perchance, by the week’s end, we may begin the great labor of returning all our worldly possessions from their sojourn in the garage unto their rightful places within the house.

Had my 1st Physio visit this morning, after a discussion and an examination, she ended up not wanting to do more treatment without more xrays. Seemed to think it's likely I've actually broken the T6 transverse process and want's to make sure before planning treatment.
Ended up having to pay another $40 for xrays as I couldn't be arsed waiting and went to a private clinic that's only partially funded by the government for this sort of thing.

Had what was hoping was my final PT visit today. have 90% range of motion for the major motions but still super stiff for certain rotations. Shoulder is stable and strength is well ahead of schedule. Elbow tendonitis is on the mend. Doc noted that I was a significant outlier as she had never seen someone with these fractures who didn't suffer from some kind of major soft tissue damage, and for that I am rather grateful as the initial assessment set expectations for multiple surgeries.
First week of teaching in the bag. Pretty sure I was as nervous as the 12 students. Ended the week with the madatory head cold.

so fucking cool. I ordered some Nebula Buds using AI it translates 100 languages. I can set it up for simultaneous translation with one ear bud on each person and we can talk in our native language and it translates. So far I have done Spanish to English and vice versa. Tomorrow I will try Tagalog with my partner
