Chain only works on non drive sideHeh, I wondered if the keen-eyed monkeys here would notice the etching mistake. It is a 104BCD spider indeed, the cranks arrived with a 30T Wolftooth chainring. Apparently Appleman are a small shop operation but the cranks feel real nice. I don't think the wrong etching will cause the cranks to explode right away.

Ffutskcirt.I've had some Trickstuff stuff sitting at Canada customs for a week now, after it took the slow boat from Germany. Man just give me that stuff already!
Maybe Trickstuff really is unobtanium?

Thanks, another member is looking into ordering/forwarding to me from Yurp.In stock over here in Australia - https://cyclinic.com.au/collections/rockshox/products/rockshox-air-shaft-sid-35-db-c1?_pos=1&_sid=5a1aed913&_ss=r&variant=33015749378102
Hit those lads up up and see if they'll send it to you?
If they don't I can get a quote on mailing it myself but might get silly expensive (AUS pricing is already cooked)
Wouldn't work well and no need on this bike, it's a 2011 hardtail I use for mellower trails/gravel type rides etc. Seat angle wouldn't appreciate being slackerDon't be a pussy, go 120mm.

Did you sell RockyMtn at your old ID shop? If so, was John your rep? It appears you still have some sort of Rocky connection eh?In other socio economic circles, I accidentalied a thing

Nice! A buddy up here sold Rocky and we'd party, ride or ski with John when he'd swing through. Great guy for sure!Yup, John and Shar would stay at our house when they came through, and vise-versa.
We are still friends, but I don’t chat with him much.
I still do have a relationship, but I found this frame for $1600, with a brand new X2 online.
Discovered my AXS remote batteries both need changing and my shock is making unhappy sounds while I was at it.
I blame @HAB
The 4 bolt one is a lot easier for me to set up with no rubbing.Alright, I now further expose my ineptitude.
How does this:

do the same thing as this:

Both are 20mm, upper has 2 bolts, lower takes 4 bolts.
is a shift of the calliper down a few mm enough to add that much material on the NSB example??
I get the radial dimension bit, but couldn’t figure out if there was some other reason WHY one would decide to do it differently for a given post mount fork.Caliper just needs to be the right distance from the axle and normal to the diameter, it can be clocked a bunch of different ways allowing multiple spacer geometries.
I assume you mean your rear brake, not your front. Yes?The 4 bolt one is a lot easier for me to set up with no rubbing.
Hybrid coil or just a damper cartridge? I am waiting for mine to arrive.I too have jumped on the cheap Hayes brakes from Yurp bandwagon to replace a pair of meh G2s. Had issues with the rear adaptor on the bike but had a spare one in the parts bin that worked Also a little something something for the fork.
Just the damper. So far have only been able to test it with some urban hucks to flat. Feels plush but maybe a little under damped for that application, which may be perfect for on the trail. Was mostly interested in it so I can play around with my own tuning.Hybrid coil or just a damper cartridge? I am waiting for mine to arrive.
