The raptors are decent off road for most that zoom and balls are in wife's purse , for a stock rig they are pretty capable and do well on power...look good and can be fun on fire roads and sand dunes within reason.I think the point of the Raptor is for virtue signalling that your a tough manly man or something, by overpaying for a ute that's actually a bit shit off road (and in all likely hood will just have flashy road wheels/tires on it that render it impossible to take off road) and has fuckall load capacity in it's tray.
Could be wrong though?
I don’t get the raptor though.
Well I figured out who drives a Corvette..white middle aged, fat cheesy gold chain wearing p-diddy clienteleTake some more supplements, drink 5 protein shakes a day, get a flat bill hat.
Except they can't really do truck things, I mean real truck things. And how many people are actually going to offroad something that expensive. Seems like a dirtbike or Quad would be a lot more fun and orders of magnitude cheaper. Owner will undoubtedly complain about gas prices.I think for most people who want a fun truck to go mess around with and goof off it's a decent truck...like the Corvette though there's a certain type that drive them
..
Homey I'm 40 and on vehicle #2. First was a taco second/current is a Subaru Impreza. Cars are simply utilitarian to me.Well I figured out who drives a Corvette..white middle aged, fat cheesy gold chain wearing p-diddy clientele
Hey @jonKranked don't you have Corvette posters in your workshop .hmmmm....
Lol busting your balls man
Also, have you met me? Imagine me wearing a gold chainWell I figured out who drives a Corvette..white middle aged, fat cheesy gold chain wearing p-diddy clientele

People with two jetskis.there's a certain type that drive them
..
Nope gonna drive overbuilt cars and run $hit over ..more fun.i mean i get why lots of you want less government, but dude, you gonna fix those roads at some point and not just buy overbuilt cars that are able to drive on them
far too few people understand that. And yeah gov is ok, corruption isn't .
That hasn't been my experience. Stiff comp damping is jarring off road, soft comp damping leads to more body roll. Short of changing the damping characteristics that's just how it is.You don't need adjustable dampers to do that, you need good dampers to do that IME. Like the “have your cake and eat it too” kind.
Or build a shock with flutter stacks to allow slow speed bump and when you hit it backs it up or body rolls it kicks in ..it's a pretty common stack design in of road racing and crawling... Allows us to get rid of some of the chatter and negate bad body roll..can still haul @$$ and it just engages the whole stack...That hasn't been my experience. Needs more cowbellHere it is with all its new parts .
I took the nomad out and rode it down the road a little..has a radial Albert rear and super soft Mary trail star front..when you hit a crack or bump in road the front even as soft as it is makes noise and bounces a slight bit ..
The radial is DEAD silent...pathump is about all you hear ..it reminds me of a old school slow reezay...gonna be solid...
New rfx38, new wheelset, new ttx22m, new tires, new seat stay..

Hey that's a OG Cambria bicycle outfitters cowbell from San Luis Obispo trails...Needs more cowbell
If it's anything like the Tactic you made a good choice. https://www.hiperhelmets.org/helmets/?helmet-search=&helmet-type=&helmet-price-range=&helmet-brand=&helmet-rating-range=&helmet-technology=&helmet-sort=ratingGrabbed a Specialized Camber MIPS helmet for the equivalent of 35 US lettuce leaves. Makes me look a little like a duck, but all of the other MIPS equipped helmets down here are at least 4x that price.

A little ‘float’?
Does that just mean low engagement?
You would be a prime candidate to try out a OneUp hub.Cool, alloy rims made in house and a hookless rim that isn't so sharp it will slice your tire open.
I'd never heard of the brand but I won't be trying another weird hub this year.Tairin Duty MK2 Alloy Rim (30mm internal width) | tairinwheels
Upcoming for 2020, we re-designed the Duty alloy rims and created the MK2 successor, which is stronger than its predecessor, boasting full DH rating. I'm waiting for Absolute Black to make a Mag Lev hub.You would be a prime candidate to try out a OneUp hub.
I had that rim on the rear wheel on my bike. It was pretty strong, but ultimately still bent and wobbled like any other.Cool, alloy rims made in house and a hookless rim that isn't so sharp it will slice your tire open.

Hmmm, yeah they say they make their own hubs then say the bodies are imported.I had that rim on the rear wheel on my bike. It was pretty strong, but ultimately still bent and wobbled like any other.
If I remember correctly, I also sliced a few side walls with it..
I think they're still made overseas too?
