I'm a bit jealous.
My headtube/steerer is too short for a one-up edc.

On the lezyne front, I have a micro floordrive I like, but the chuck can be a bit fiddly and it really is only backpack friendly which I no longer carry.

Ugly swoopy shape of top tube and downtube make a bottle mount impractical as well. I had to make a custom mounting bracket to shift the bottle mount just to fit a small bottle to clear my shock res.

Luckily my rides are mostly stacked trail systems and under two hours so a multi-tool in a pouch strapped to the frame suffices. Flats mean I walk. I've been lucky as it has been a couple years since I have had to walk. Probably just jinxed myself.

Was thinking about one of the bb mounted tools. (SRAM XO1 cranks)

Any recommendations for a bb mounted tool?

Sweet ride, super nice build! How are you liking the Shigura brake set up? Which levers and calipers?
Thanks dude! It's my 2nd set of Shigura brakes. I've got about 1000 miles on my first set and theyre crazy stopping power. My cousin who "rides mtb" gave that bike a parking lot test and came back all wide eyed saying my brakes almost killed him
Another friend of mine test rode my bike and came back saying my brakes ruined his brakes. His brakes were complete shit, its true.

I'm getting one finger braking with modulation and haven't experienced fade on sustained steepness.

They are MT5 calipers and BL-m8100 brake levers. 180mm Magura rotors f/r. I'm stocking up parts to build another set.

@boostindoubles your bars lol..I was going to swap mine all to 40+mm rise...get behind the front not over it...easier to drop back on steep chures....was on BTI scouring for some.

Diety and or spank vibracore 35 50mm

I just changed out my trailbikes 10 year old Syntace Vector 20mm carbon bars for a PNW Loam 38mm carbon bar. Thought about another Vibracore like on the DH bike but the PNW gets a good review on comfort and they were on sale for only a couple shekels more than what a Spank would cost. So far, three rides in - I like them.

Not bb mounted, but I saw a Woolftooth tool that insert in the handlebar. Might be worth a look.

I have another pair of the Deity and a Chromag FU40 laying in the bin. Taller bars are more better. I run 31.8mm because less stiff - more damping is what I tell myself.

More bike porno

I just bought those same PNW Loam bars as well during the sale. I don't have a real ride on them yet but they felt great on a quick driveway test.

I'm so old and sad, I'm yet to use the cassette but it's already my favorite purchase of the year.
Dog bless gravel bikes and Sram, 12sp 11-44HG road cassette body.

Lighter than an XT 10-45 and the Sram is all steel.
Shitty Conti tire will be gone next week, I hate that thing.

Nice! I love absolutely everything about my ESD!

(Except maybe riding it on high speed chunky trails and big-ass dorps to flat... ;) )

Yeah, I gotta take a close look at how Garbaruk pulled that off, very interesting.
From their website -

"Recommended drivetrain setups
We recommend using our 12-speed Shimano-compatible cassette with 1x12-speed SLX, XT and XTR drivetrains (Long Cage (SGS) version is required to work with our 11-52T cassette). However, if you would like to use it with SRAM 12-speed rear derailleur, such setup will also work well. Our 12-speed cassette is compatible with Shimano HG+ 12-speed chain."

But how they did it, or what that is - I do not know the answer.

I've been buying the Garbaruk 12 speed cassettes. I ditched the microspline and went back to my old friend HG. Garbaruk makes a 12 speed cassette for HG. Its 1 piece!

Thats right, a 1 piece 12 speed HG cassette.
How's it one piece if it's two different materials?

EDIT- My 12spd HG gravel cassette was about 190 Aussie dollars and that price hurt my soul, no way I could do 500 on a cassette.
The machining is impressive, wonder how much machine time it takes to whip one up and do they harden them after machining?

Well its actually two pieces - the main steel cassette and then the aluminum granny gear but its all screwed and pinned together.

I had issues with microspline not keeping the cassette lockring tight. Went back to HG and no more loose cassettes. Imagine that...

Saint 12spd with a TRP shifter.
I moved the upper jockey wheel up and back to get it to clear the larger steps than the Saint lords intended.

Why? The TRP shifter is the only one I can use without getting a sore thumb and my foot clips a TRP EVO mech in the top two gears because it is so stupidly large.
