Is there enough chain wrap at the chainring so you don't lose it in rough terrain?
So far, no issues. (relatively new Wolftooth 30t N/W ring, new chain, new 11-42 XT cassette)

caveat: where i live and ride doesn't have much in the way of long stretches of vert - it's all short ups/downs. won't really have a good test of chain keeping over distance until the lifts open.

in a single wide, cooking meth...
is it...is it...PURPLE DRANK???
It's supposed to be Reigning Blood, but it looks more burgundy to me. Regardless, today's shakedown ride was rad AF...the next thing you know I will get a fanny pack and move to Provincetown.

As for the low O² levels up here in the mesosphere, it's not a big deal now that I have a therapeutic use exemption for all manner of asthma drugs.

I've had those - sold one to @Sandwich, had a iscg03 one on another frame. I like the plastic bash better on rocks. :busted:
I just run a steel chainring and don't worry about it.

Your mileage may vary depending on what interface you need. SRAM makes some cheap ones, or Wolftooth if you want a little shinier/blingier/moar spendier.

I do > 1000 miles per year on one of my MTB's which is 8 years old and still 3x9.

Decided to almost modernize the drivetrain on it now that 11 speed XTR is being cleared out for the new 12 speed stuff. Going 2x11 with an XTR, X01 and GX mix and swapping my 10 year old Pro 2 hub to an XD driver. 2x as I need the range and it means I won't be climbing on the big cassette cog very often.

Old parts, new frame. XL 2017 Wilson non crabon.
Really excited to test this thing out. Suspension feels so dialed even with just the initial setup. Now i´m intrigued to experience the Weagle suspension wizardry myself.

New parts arrived 10 days ago, installed, 4 proper rides on it - will not go back.

My RC4 returned freshly serviced yesterday too, pretty perfect setup now. Called it a day yesterday noon and an amazing ride in the afternoon.
