I dig the black and white especially the longer trails sequences. So when are you gonna ride that bike?

Awesome weekend everyone and if you weren't there than damn you missed out.

thank go out to many folks.
but mainly to brady for the "whiteworkhorse".

and all the riders who "rolled the trails in" very well under constantly changing conditions.
saturday's first run was good ol' windrock grease.
the second was moist loam.
the third was starting to "pack an tack" perfectly.
and it just kept getting faster and faster all weekend.

That "workhorse" was towing up about 4200 lbs. (give or take a few) on EVERY shuttle up. There was no less than 18 bikes on all trips to the top. 22 on a couple.
That truck was built for that.....but it sure is nice that Brady is ALWAYS there when we are, to get my trailer up that Mt.
Last weekend was one of the best HGR trips to Windrock to date.
I had a great time seeing and riding with y'all (one weekend and I am talking like a local)
A big thanks to Joey and his entire crew for ALL they do up there.
We (HGR) and my trailer will be back come fall.....But something tells me I may be down with a smaller group b4 that.- JM

Yeah thanks to everyone for making the ride happen-
I was a wrookie at this party - although I've been a pro for several years
and seen alot of courses all over the country this place is the shiznitz!
Wow! Top two on my favorite times on a bicycle! Had a blast, Jeff and
brady jumped me into the trails like a gang member! It was on!
This is some of the best terrain in the country and anyone who has
the oppurtunity to ride here must jump on it! Bring a big bike
some bigger balls and def. gear and fullface. The pictures don't
look anything like what I remember riding - most of it is Steep!
did I mention it being STEEP, offcambers, rocks oh yeah and rocks!
It is a blast without trying to "race" it like some DH courses.
All laid out very well and flowy with jumps made for the speed you're
carrying! Thanks Joey and crew for all the hours it takes to build
some stuff like that - I'll be back for sure!

JM

4200 lbs? I think it was significantly more. 20 riders * 250 lbs(200lbs rider and gear + 50lbs bike) = 5000 lbs.

And I am being nice on the 200 lbs for rider and gear since there were several guys that would be closer to 250 than 200 ;)

Back to subject: Thanks goes to Brady for beating the crap out of his truck, Joey and the trail crew for building such a nice trail system, Mark for taking all those pictures and to all the riders that made it a great time with little drama. It's fun to ride with people that are so excited about riding.

damn good time this weekend.

it's always good to see you guys up here.
and quite a few new faces too.
(there were a couple of young guys from ohio i think, who saturday weren't that darn far behind me whenever i stopped. not bad for first time riders.)

lots of year passes have been sold here in the past few weeks.
that means we'd better be seeing more of you on a more regular basis.

and hey johnboy:
the three words i heard the most about our new trail were,
"steep" and "off camber".
so i guess s.o.c. it is.

weekends like this make all the effort we put in up here worthwhile.

Fun day Saturday.

It was good to see and ride with a bunch of good cats I haven't ridden with in a couple of years. That place has changed a lot, yet its still got the same flavor it did back in '02. Now I just need to get some speed back.

Mark even grabbed a shot of my backside in there. I think I scared you as much as you me when you popped out from under one of the little bridge drops up top!

See ya'll out there again!

Hopefully Sunday. It was tough watching and not riding this weekend.

Man, I thought Brian was the last one through so I popped my head out from underneath that jump, heard you thundering down the trail and got out of the way just in time to avoid being decapitated. Good to see you out there though!
