I hate to keep bothering people, but when ever I go off any drops or even through a rock garden that uses suspension and it sounds like my headset is rattling? Any suggestions? I've tried tightening it, but to no avail. Also, I want to put a stiffer spring in my psyblo since I cant afford a new fork right now. Will this make a huge difference on how it rides?

did you loosen the stem before you tightened the cap on the headset, mine felt the same way once before but it was fine afterwards. Then again mine didn't start to rattle as I rode it was there just because I was sloppy when I installed the fork.

One way to check headset tightness is to lock the front brake and rock the bike back and forth while feeling the upper race/upper cup and crown/lower cup for play. Also remove the top cap and ensure the steerer is at least 3mm below the stem. If it's not the top cap may be bottoming on the steerer and unable to tighten up the stem/stack. As mentioned loosen the stem and upper crown (if you have one) before tightening the top cap.

It could be the fork.

But dont over tighten the head set. The head set should be loose enough so if you pick up the bike and turn it sideways the front wheel should move freely. Dont overtighten to solve the problem. It is probably the fork or the head set is installed wrong or you ovalized your head tube. :dead:
