hey guys, i am new here to the forums. I am very interested in dj and trials, but what got me excited was when i saw some dirtjump tracks here in washington dc. So i really want to get into to this sport, but i have no clue where to start.
what is the difference between aluminum and steal?
Also, how do they feel.?

and my budget is about $750 for a frame,
other info about me, i am clumsy- i will screw up a lot....
I want a frame that is really strong and comfy.

$750 for a frame will get you a very nice frame. aluminum frames are generally lighter, but very stiff. they're nice and responsive, but steel is a little more forgiving and supposedly has a livelier feel.
as for good frames to start off with, i'd suggest going with something like a black market riot or maybe a transition trail or park. both are steel, but aren't as expensive as some of the super high end frames. they're both extremely well designed and i don't think you'll be wishing you had a "better" frame, but they'll also save you some cash so you can buy other nice parts.
