"Sadly, 97 percent of riders lack the skills to push the Vivid to its limits"

What exactly means "pushing a shock to it's limits"?

I think pushing a shock to his limits occurs when rding it down as much rough lift-assisted dh-tracks as fast as possible. Maybe chased landings aswell. It's about reliability not performancy. The shock performs the same for every rider given that he knows to set it up to his needs.

Pro-riders probably don't really push the shock to it's limits simply because they ofthen ride superbly serviced pre-production versions which get maintenaced or changed after a few rides.
