So we've been bashing people's proverbial heads in about this one so i want to be the 1st to apologise and get the story straight.
Zoke put a snap ring and spacer into the bottom of the leg, like 01ish forks that holds a spacer and a topout spring. The spacer can be set either above or below the cart to adjust 20mm of travel.
The rest of the fork, includuing dampers and springs are the same.
Just took one apart to confirm it.
Thanks to Zoke.

This is where confusion was thrown in to the previous thread, the mention that different year models had topout springs either internally in the cartridge, or externally (like mentioned above), and if they were external, adjustability was available. Instead of trying to clarify the internals and get answers, it ended up being a debate about semantics...
Glad you cleared it up Krispy

Any chance the 05 888RC has the same setup?

I just want to say thanks to the Go-Ride guys. Good, solid information is always appreciated. Krispy, this is off-topic, but what have you heard about Yeti doing a thru-axle rear end for the ASX sometime later this year?

Already talked to Yeti about the swingarm. Later this year, there will be a through axle rear end, swingarm and all somewhere aroun 250-3something, not sure what they said. It acutally was afordable, believe it or not.

How about the z150's? Are they adjustable down to 130mm?

p.s. sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere
There are no Z150s for 2005. So probably not.

Dunno about the z 150 but i doubt it.Can't say til one comes in for service.

Yeti was all stoked up on the TA swingarm, but the fire has died down. They didn't seem to have a solid date in it last time i spoke to them.I'm running a steel Saint axle it my Hadley hub and the Saint der, hard to tell if it feels stiffer, but i sure feel a lot more confident about the wheel stayin on!

Anything with ETA or ECC is not able to be reduced without changing cartridges.....

888RC's would require different cartridges, too. That is because of the postition sensitive nature of the cartridge...

I heard that the 2005 Z1 series can go from 150 to 130mm and vice versa, as long as it doesnt have ETA.

ie, Fr2 and Fr3 are travel adjustable, but Fr1/ETA isnt.

Brian and/or Krispy can you confirm this?

nice to see people actually admitting to being wrong instead og just doing nothing. :)

I´m just curious why you guys from go-ride haven´t seen the short mecanic.instruction film from marzocchi describing exactly how to do this spacer rearrangement. I just got it from the Danish importer, so it can´t be that much of a secret..

To change the travel, you need a cupple of spanners and 5 minutes :)
