Resurrecting this thread, anyone here had some time on a Specialized Status? I'm trying to decide between a S3 Status 160 and an Ibis Ripmo V2S.

Tested a Transition Patrol, don't know why but it felt like an absolute porker, absolutely DH biased.

Don’t know anything about Specialized or Ibis, but can confirm that the Patrol is a porker. Climbs ok for a 39-40 lbs bike, but still…

It's no trail bike. Might want to try a Smuggler instead.

I've got a Scout, it does that. But it got some tiny wheels.

I'm still dialing in my 5010 and I need more time on it to form a definitive opinion. It feels like a lively bike though! Very jumpy, only down side is the lack of coil options.
