took me a bit to find it, but i did find an application of blockchain that has a real function. colnago figured out a way to use it to authenticate their frames and can check if it had been stolen. they are one of the brands that has a big problem with counterfeits.

The idea of counterfeit goods is always interesting to me. There are fake Nike shoes that are made of nicer materials and still sell for less than half with the same or better level of quality. But I doubt I would get injured if a fake Nike failed.
