Well, just because theres been a lack of Nicolai pron in the last week  I thought I would share my complete (at least until all the 05 stuff is released and I end up changing out all the componentry) Nicolai 2MXTB built up and ripping. :thumb:

The components that are less obvious are:
RNC Pro Cranks
Mavic EX729 on a Goldtec Sam(48 clicks) hub.
A nice Blue XT derailleur

It rides very nicely handeling things from street, dirt, trails, DH, Freeride, drops, singletrack.. well you get the idea. Enjoy :D

Can you take a close up of your Blue XT? Did you have it anodized?

About the derailleur, yeah, I'm waiting to see if Rohloff bring out anything new.

The background is my new(ish) house, moved in in July still loads of work to be done.

hells ya! because the 2mxtb only has 6 speedholes in it :(
None of you guys have lived until you have drilled out your fr derailer collar and cage to save some "weight"

Better yet crank arms and well anything else you dared. :) For a fatty like me that was a no-no but I saw plenty of my buddies do it.

ROFL@XT.
Drill a few more holes in it, and stick random bolts in those holes, and it might look like something nicolai would make.

Well, then it would have to last 5 years longer, have zero flex, and eliminate the slap. then it could pass as something nicolai builds ;)

dude! i too went through a swiss-cheese phase back in the day. no part was safe from the drill. i knew a guy who drilled out his xt cranks & subsequently snapped them & crashed his brains out. dumb fun. here's my remaining memento from foolish days gone by:
