I crushed my digital headtrip 2 last night with a book on accident.

I don't think you guys need a picture...I remember the rep saying that they were virtually indestructable. Since they managed to drive the Niterider 16 wheeler truck right up onto 16 headtrip lamps without breaking any.

They didn't have a waranty on the webpage however I seem to remember that they refurbished lights and sold them at 24hour events. You don't suppose that they will be willing to negotiate a storm hid maby?

This going to sting. I can't affor a completely new storm but I recognize that I need it. Does anyone know if the storm lamp is compatible with their other battery packs and wires?

I would say call them and be honest about what happened, and don't act like they owe you anything. They might help you out. Although I will say I wasn't impressed with the Niterider guy's attitude when I met him at Interbike.

I sent them an email. They mentioned that they were willing to do repairs. (probably for a price) They also mentioned that they have an upgrade program. (it is crushed to smitherines but it still functions properly)

I made an inquiry as to the costs and compatablility. My old system will not work with the new ones. I will break the bank to get the storm though I have my fingers crossed that they will sell me a rebuilt one for maby a few hundred U.S.

Not that I have a few hundred for a light. I want to ride the rainstorms of april at night this year.

The weather is about to hit reasonable positive temperatures on the trail for the first time this year. The first rains are coming this weekend. I might even get my first ride of the season in.
