a friend of my took off the compression cap from his boxxer WC.
so now he only have the air sprung and the rebound.
he weight only 60kg... and he say that he really like the way the fork works now...
anyone here tried it?
yes
the all compression damper assembly.
is there a different between:
using no compression damping at all (with the compression damper assembly)
and using the fork without the compression damper assembly?
Yes there should be a big difference, just because it is set at minimum doesn't mean it's not doing anything.
There is a chance there is something wrong with the damper or your friend may be running the fork oversprung and running minimal compression damping may allow hiw to use more travel.
My 2010 Totem had something wrong with the damping adjustments and I was forced to go to a fluid that was much lighter the the standard RS product, tell him to throw them at a wall and buy some Marzocchi's.
